Operation We R Grateful Rules and Info

I am so thrilled to be sharing with you a special event
that has been in the works for a while on my blog.

Today we have issued a challenge in making handmade cards for the troop to write home with.  You may have heard of Operation Write Home, this is the organization that we are helping today.  I am also teaming up with We R Memory Keepers who will be sending all the cards to Operation Write Home.

Here is how it will work:
*A new challenge will be given every hour, there will be a few prizes
involved for those that link their projects to the post.
Card need to be made just for this challenge, no posting "old" cards.

*I have put together a HUGE prize ($200 Value) for one lucky member who sends the cards they have made to me by June 27th.  I will randomly select a winner from all the packages
received and they will win the awesome prize.

*Send your cards to:
Kassidy Thomas
      P.O. Box 291
Clarkston, Utah
84305
to be entered to win the grand prize

*I will be taking all the cards I receive to We R Memory Keepers where you can win other prizes.  Some prizes include: We R Memory Keepers Product and the chance to win a CRUISE!!!!

To enter to win the Cruise and other Prizes from We R Memory Keepers  you must print and fill out this form and send it with your package.

Here is the list of Rules for making cards for the troops.

No glitter.
It's a safety hazard for our heroes, so no cards with any glitter that will flake off the card are accepted.

A2 sized cards.
4.25" x 5.5" - half a sheet of cardstock - fit the boxes most economically.

Line cards made with dark cardstock.
If a pencil won't show up, add a liner

Some lumpiness is okay.
Our heroes don't have to pay for lettermail, but that doesn't mean we can go wild with layers and embellishments. Save the big vintage buttons and thick embellishments for AnyHero mail that doesn't have to go through the postal system!

Do NOT handwrite sentiments.
Neither outside or inside the cards

Use quality supplies.
Computer paper, foamies, ittybitty stickers, and gluesticks don't hold up to the rigors of the battlefront. It's ok to make fewer cards with better supplies - every card counts! :)

Card themes.
Remember who's sending these: adults. No cards to Daddy, no "wish you were here," or party invitations; no explicit images or sentiments.

If you have any questions, ask us on the facebook page.
My design team or myself will do our best to answer your questions:)  Plus, we may be giving away some prizes there too!
