Bless This Home

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. Can you believe that summer is coming down to a close.Don't get me wrong, I love summer.  I am just so over this heat and dryness!  I am wanting some snow soon ;)

Well we have been busy with lots of events lately.  Lots of weddings, showers and family members moving.  I like to give  little house warming gifts to our families and friends.  I decided I need to make a housewarming gift at the very last minute.  I didn't have time to buy a cute vinyl decal from EAD Designs, so I decided to make one with my cricut cutting machine.  I think it turned out pretty cute!

Supplies Used:

No worries if you don't have a cutting machine.  EAD Designs has some super darling decals and you can even have them create something custom for you.

See you all next Saturday with another fun vinyl project!

Vinyl Flower Decor Plate

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a great Saturday.  I wanted to share a really fun project with you that I created this week.  I had to run a few errands earlier this week and made a quick stop by the dollar store.  I found these bright and fun dinner plates and thought that would look so super duper cute with some vinyl on it and on plate holder.
After debating a few minutes on what color to get... it seriously took me forever!  There were a ton of cool colors.  I decided to pick up this orange one.

I decided I needed to add something fun and "summery" to my kitchen table.  I used my Cricut Expression cutting machine and found a cartridge with a cute flower on it.  I used my favorite vinyl from EAD Designs to cut.  You can find it here:

I really loved how it turned out!  I can't wait to set it up in my kitchen!

Before and After- Valentines Project

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all having a fantastic day!  I got a few emails from lasts weeks project (Snowflake Plate) that I would like to answer.

Can you use a plate that has vinyl to put treats on and how do you wash it?
*Yes, you can put treats and other goodies on a plate decorated with vinyl.  When washing, use warm (not too hot) water and DO NOT put in the dishwasher.

What can I do to take a vinyl decal off a plate that has already been applied?
*The easiest and fastest way to take off vinyl off an object is to heat it with a blow dryer until the edges start to curl up.

I also got an email wanting me to show a Valentine decorated plate and here it is:

Don't you just LOVE it?  I sure do!  Can't wait to display it with all my other valentine decorations.

Be sure to check out EAD DESIGNS for tons and tons of adorable Valentine decals!

You can find the one I used HERE

See you back here Saturday for another fun vinyl project:)

A Spooky Pumpkin Full of Guts

Hello everyone!  I hope you are all  having a FANTASTIC
October Saturday.  We are just trying to stay warm here in
Utah... youwould think Christmas was just around the corner
with all the snow on the ground.  Anyways, I still have a few
Halloween projects to share with you before I start the fun
Christmas ones.

My favorite thing ever this time of year is PUMPKINS!  I
love love love love PUMPKINS!  I am really not a huge
fan of carving pumpkins because it gets so cold here and they
don't last very long at all.  I like my pumpkins to last until
Thanksgiving.

So I was browsing that fabulous EAD Designs Website and
I found this darling vinyl pumpkin face!  YAY now my pumpkin
will last forever!
