You "Bake" me Happy:)

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!

I have a really "yummy" project to share with you today.
You all know how I like to add a little pizzaz to plain jane things...
Today the Kitchen Aid got a little makeover.
I was so excited to see that EAD Designs had a fun subway art decoration fit for my Kitchen Aid.

It was so simple to stick on.
Let me tell you something about this vinyl...
I have worked with other vinyl before that was not the best quality, it gets so frustrating.  Not the vinyl from EAD, it is awesome to work with.

I was so excited to have the finished product!  To celebrate I made
a delicious batch of banana bread:)

Thanks EAD Designs for my Kitchen Aid makeover
and for
Baking Me Happy:)

One of My Favorite Things and a Giveaway:)

I just wanted to share a few projects that I have made over the past few weeks.  I used my favorite Cri-kit pens:)  What Cri-kit pens are, they are gel pens that you add to your Cricut.  It so simple to set them up in your machine.  You simply take out your blade and housing and replace it with penholder and pen.    I love the unique look that they add to my projects.

 * The Pens work beautifully, especially when it comes to drawing fonts:)
*I love that I can make my own patterned design.  Love the look it gives this flower.
*I love how they can make a plain boring tag pretty and elegant:)

What to try some pens?
I have a extra set of pens and want you to have the chance to
try them out:)

Baby, you're a Firework! No Pun Intended :)

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!

I have been so super excited to share this fun project with you!   If you were to come to my home, the first thing you would think is "Wow, that girl is obsessed with Americana Decor"  It is true... I am obsessed.  My Family/Living room is all decked out in red white and blue.

Another thing I am obsessed with is the CLEARANCE isles at store.  A few days ago while I was checking out the clearance isles at TJ Maxx, I came across this  "BABY" frame for only $2.00
As you can see it is very banged up and coming apart at the corners... This is not at all a concern with me because I like to have things look worn and a little banged up.  I knew exactly what I would turn it into.  With a little help from my friends at EAD Designs (they created me this beauty)

When I started putting this project together of course I had to "wear it out"  a little more with some Tim Holtz ink.  I added some patterned paper to the inside of the frame and attached my vinyl decal to the top of the glass.  So when I get bored with the blue polka-dot background I can change it out and the vinyl remains in the same place:)  YAY!

Thank you EAD Designs for helping me change this 'baby' frame into a firework!  And Yes, I have been singing 'Baby, you're a firework' through this entire project:)

Before and After with a Little Pizazz

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!

I have been so super excited to share some fun and exciting news!  I am the new Before and After Girl over at EAD Designs!
I’m so excited to share my first Before and After project with you today.
I am one of those crazy girls who can never leave things plain, I always need to add a little pizazz! I’ve been wanting to make over these
plain jane canisters.

After browsing the EAD store, I came across this beauty and the heavens began to sing.

I was so thrilled the way these canisters turned out!  It is so much fun how a little label can turn something DRAB TO FAD!

A HUGE thanks to EAD DESIGNS for helping me turn my boring canisters into something special!  Love it:)
