Camera Drama and a Home Decor Project

Wednesday afternoon my cameras memory card decided to "kick the bucket"...
I would have been okay for a few days until I made it to "town" (I live 30 mins from the closest walmart and grocery store) but I had a few important posts that I was getting ready for. Nothing is worse than making a design team project and then finding out about the camera;(
Anyways, this project was for my Thankful Thursday post for Crazy About Cricut.
I made this home decor project for Valentines Day (a little late, I know)...

Recipe:
Mickey Mouse Font Cartridge
Doodlecharms Cartridge
Paper- SEI
White Gel Pen
Black Marker
Distressing Ink
Ribbon
I made this to fit inside a 12x12 frame and set out with all my other Valentine decor. I can't wait to use it next year. This was so fun to make that I will be making one for St. Pattys Day.
*Be sure to check back all day Saturday because I will have a bunch of new projects on my blog;)

Super Simple Valentine Layout- Doodlecharms,Sweethearts Cartridges

Recipe:
Doodlecharms, Sweethearts Cricut Cartridges
Paper: SEI, Stampin Up
Fiskars Border Punch
White Gel pen
Black Marker
Charm: SEI
Glitter Foam Hearts: Dollar Store

I dedicate this post to my facebook friends that challenged me to do a scrapbook layout...
Layouts are hard for me, cards just seem a lot easier to create.
My goal is to make one layout each week (we will see how long that goes;)
Are you more of a card maker or a layout maker?
