Jinger Adams Gypsy Queen Clipboard

Hi everyone!  I wanted to share some good news with you, I am now on Jinger Adams design team.  I am so super excited to share a fun project with you using product from Jinger Adams collection.  Today I will be working with the Gypsy Queen collection.  Le me just say how amazingly gorgeous it is.  You must pick it up!
I love how all the paper coordinates with one another and their is even matching embellishments to go along with it.  It totally takes all the guess work out of trying to match papers and ribbons.

For today's project, I decided to make a fun altered clipboard.  I just picked up a plain blank wood clipboard and some black binder clips from an office supply store and started creating.

 Products Used:

  • Wooden Clipboard
  • Blank Binder Clips
  • Paper- Jinger Adams (Gypsy Queen)
  • Ribbon- Jinger Adams (Gypsy Queen)
  • Mod Podge- I applied about 4 coats on top letting each one dry for about 45 mins before adding another layer.
If you have any questions feel free to send me an email: inkingitupcrazy@gmail.com

See you all next time!

Treat Tin- EAD Designs

Hello Everyone!  I hope you are all having a fabulous Saturday!

I am excited to share a quick project with you today.

Remember when I did the project with my white canisters and product from EAD designs?  If not, you can check out that post here

Anyways, there was a few more labels that I didn't use for that project.
There is a really cute label for TREATS.
I have been thinking for a while something that I could use this tag before.

I decided to make a little treat canister for the Sundays School Children I teach at church.
I picked up a cute tin from Target for $1.00

I added the cute TREAT tag and some embellishments to make it extra fun.

Now I just need to find some yummy treats to fill it with.

Baby, you're a Firework! No Pun Intended :)

Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!

I have been so super excited to share this fun project with you!   If you were to come to my home, the first thing you would think is "Wow, that girl is obsessed with Americana Decor"  It is true... I am obsessed.  My Family/Living room is all decked out in red white and blue.

Another thing I am obsessed with is the CLEARANCE isles at store.  A few days ago while I was checking out the clearance isles at TJ Maxx, I came across this  "BABY" frame for only $2.00
As you can see it is very banged up and coming apart at the corners... This is not at all a concern with me because I like to have things look worn and a little banged up.  I knew exactly what I would turn it into.  With a little help from my friends at EAD Designs (they created me this beauty)

When I started putting this project together of course I had to "wear it out"  a little more with some Tim Holtz ink.  I added some patterned paper to the inside of the frame and attached my vinyl decal to the top of the glass.  So when I get bored with the blue polka-dot background I can change it out and the vinyl remains in the same place:)  YAY!

Thank you EAD Designs for helping me change this 'baby' frame into a firework!  And Yes, I have been singing 'Baby, you're a firework' through this entire project:)

12 Days of Giveaways: Day 5

Hello everyone! Welcome to day 5 of the twelve days of Christmas Giveaways! I am still under the weather and have no voice. I am going to see if I can kick out a video tonight without having a scratchy voice. I had a few questions about the giveaways that I am doing. You can enter all the giveaways until the last giveaway is up (day 12) and I will announce all the winners the following day. I hope that makes sense.
Anyways... I am SO EXCITED for today's sponsor. You all know Miss Emma (My Creative Time). She has been so sweet to donate a DVD to one lucky winner. This is a must have DVD for all you gypsy owners. Learn everything about your gypsy as Emma walks you through tutorials and projects. How awesome is that!!! If you have never visited her site, go check it out!
THANKS EMMA! YOU ROCK:)

For my project today, I altered a basic tin box that I picked up from Target.
I have also seen some at Michaels and Hobby Lobby.
These tins are so easy to alter and make great gifts for everyone. Fill them with treats, cookies, cards and etc. I am using this one to fill with Christmas tags that I have made throughout the year. I added vinyl decals, gems, and ribbon around the handle.
