My Pink Stamper Design Team Day YAY:) Layouts

Today is design team day over at MY PINK STAMPER:)
For our project today, Robyn asked us to make a LAYOUT!
For all my followers, you know I have a Love Hate relationship
with layouts. I don't do them often because the scare me... It is so
much easier for me to make a card. Once I finish a layout I always
tell myself, "That wasn't so bad. I will make them more."
Once again I said that after I made this layout:)
Here Is My Layout:

Calligraphy, Storybook Cartridges
Paper- Nikki Sivils

That's why I love this paper line so much:)

Super Easy Birthday Card- 7 Minute Card

Usually it takes me a long long time to make a card... I sit in my craft room and stare at my cartridges. Well today I decided to make something from the Rock Princess Cartridge. After looking through the handbook I picked something very simple with very little layering. I hate all the time it takes to layer certain cuts... even though I love how it turns out.
I guess I have no patience.
Anyways, I made this card in 7 minutes flat:) woot woot!

Paper- Recollections

Heartstring Designs

I have got the chance the play around with a scrapbook kit from Heartstring Designs.
Here is a little bit of info about this cool company:
"Heartstring Designs Club is a monthly scrapbooking and greeting card kit program that is offered throughout the US and Canada. Our unique MATBOARD embellishments provide a three dimensional look to your layouts. Our one of a kind MATBOARD embellishments and our selection of only the very best and newest paper lines gives us the premier monthly kits available in today’s market. In addition we include a “WOW Item” in each kit every month that will add even greater value and pizzazz to your pages and cards."
What I liked most about the scrapbooking kit that I got was, the endless possibilities. I got a bunch of coordinating patterned papers and cardstock as well as the famous MATBOARDS. The kit even came with an idea sheet too. These sets are great for beginners who have a hard time coordinating pattern papers and cardstock on layouts.
The Matboards are amazing as well. They give a whole new look to your scrapbook page. I distressed one of the matboard pieces on my project and it worked amazing. I heard people saying to run it through the cuttlebug too. I thought there is no way this will work because the matboard is super thick... well it WORKED and it worked AWESOME! Be sure to check out all the fun items that
has to offer.

Having Fun with Cri-Kit Pens

I decided to change it up today, rather than using all cricut cut. Today I played around with Cri-Kit pens. If you have never tried using pens with your cricut, it is super easy and super fun. Sometimes I get nervous with really detailed cuts with the cricut. With these pens there is no worrying at all. They are so fun to watch in action.
There is a huge variety of pens to choose from: Regular, Neon, Glitter, Metallic and Pastel. I hear the now have Markers (Mar-Kits) to use too:) I can't wait to try those. Cri-Kits is a great company and all the times I have ordered, everything comes super fast. Be sure to check them out at and see all the awesome product they offer.
Make your crafting more fun with using Cri-Kits!
