Hi Everyone and Happy Saturday!
I have been so super excited to share this fun project with you! If you were to come to my home, the first thing you would think is "Wow, that girl is obsessed with Americana Decor" It is true... I am obsessed. My Family/Living room is all decked out in red white and blue.
Another thing I am obsessed with is the CLEARANCE isles at store. A few days ago while I was checking out the clearance isles at TJ Maxx, I came across this "BABY" frame for only $2.00

As you can see it is very banged up and coming apart at the corners... This is not at all a concern with me because I like to have things look worn and a little banged up. I knew exactly what I would turn it into. With a little help from my friends at EAD Designs (they created me this beauty)
When I started putting this project together of course I had to "wear it out" a little more with some Tim Holtz ink. I added some patterned paper to the inside of the frame and attached my vinyl decal to the top of the glass. So when I get bored with the blue polka-dot background I can change it out and the vinyl remains in the same place:) YAY!
Thank you EAD Designs for helping me change this 'baby' frame into a firework! And Yes, I have been singing 'Baby, you're a firework' through this entire project:)

This is amazingly cute! I love how you can change the background! That song has been stuck in my head for a week. I love the cute button in the corner. That would be perfect decor for the 4th!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great ideas! You rock!
