Exploring The Spring Holiday Cards Cricut Cartridge

Hi everyone! This is Kassidy from Inking It Up Crazy. I am so super excited to be a part of the fabulous Memory Miser design team!  This month I got to explore the Cricut Cartridge: Spring Holiday Cards

I am going to be honest, when I first seen Provo Craft release this cartridge, I thought it was okay...  Something I couldn't see myself ever using.  It looked like it took the creativity out of cardmaking.
After getting the chance to play with it, I couldn't be more wrong.

This would be a great cartridge for anyone!  The beginning crafter to the advance crafter.
What I liked about it was:
  •  EASY TO USE (only 2 cuts to make an entire card)
  • Great for those that don't have a lot of time to create a card.
  • Great for kids to use.
  • Matching Envelopes
  • AMAZING GIFT BOXES (If it was me, I would definitely purchase this cartridge for just the gift boxes alone)

Here are a few projects I made with the Spring Holiday Cards:

Wouldn't this be a fun gift box for any "fungi" in your life.  I have such a hard time making boyish projects but this cartridge makes it super easy.

I  love the gift boxes so much that I created some for mothers day!  I also used the April Showers Cricut Cartridge to cut the flower.

For this one, I need a gift card holder for a birthday and decided to turn a basic envelope cut into a gift card holder.  I used the back of the envelope as the front and added some inking, button, twine and a fun stamp from My Pink Stamper that Memory Miser also sales.

I hope you all enjoyed my projects using the Spring Holiday Cards Cricut Cartridge!

See you all soon!
Hugs, Kassidy

Thank You- Leaf Card

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  Does your weekend seem to go as fast as mine do?  LOL  Anyways, I wanted to share a card I made last week with you.  This card first started out really really simple.  I didn't have the twine on it at first.  I thought it looked a little "blah" and threw some of my favorite twine on it and it really made it pop!  I love my Timeless Twine!

Here is what I created:

Items Used:

  • Paper- The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby), Bo Bunny
  • White Gel Pen
  • Cricut Expression Machine
  • Cricut Cartridge- Sophie
  • Corner Chomper
  • Stamp- My Pink Stamper
  • Twine- Black Coffee (You Can Find It Here)

See you all in a little while:)  Have a twine-tastic day!
Hugs!

Dream Big Smiling Flowers

Hi everyone! I hope you are all having a great Tuesday!
For today's project I wanted to show you a really fun and
easy way to use a little bit of twine to really make your project pop.

The flowers would still be cute without the little twine bow... but I think
it adds a lot more cuteness to the project:)

I hope you enjoyed my project! See you all next time!

Sending Bug Hugs Valentine Card

Hi everyone!  I hope you are all having a great Monday!
For today's project I wanted to show you a really fun and
easy Valentine card to make.

I didn't even use my cricut on this project!  I decided to
use a heart punch that I haven't used in YEARS!  I
totally forgot how much fun they are to use and how
stinkin' quick I can create a card!  Pairing the punches
with twine is the best!  So easy to work with :)

Hope you all have a fantastic Valentines day!
See you next time ;)

My HONEST thoughts on the Cricut Imagine

Today I wanted to share a little bit about
my Cricut Imagine.  I purchased this machine
a couple months ago.  I was so super excited
when the UPS man knocked on my door.  I
had been clearing out a special area in my craft
room just for the Cricut Imagine.
I hurried and set it all up, did the update and was
all ready to start playing and....
it would NOT work....  I tried 100's of times
with no luck.  I finally gave up and called the
cricut support line.  They were so awesome,
they had me try lots of things but still nothing
worked.  I sent my machine to have them
get it fixed and a few days later a new one
arrived.  I was so excited because this one
WORKED!  I started to play around with it
and I thought it was okay... the colors weren't
bright and bold like the projects I have seen
using this machine.    It seems like the colors
were dull and sometimes not the same as
pictured in the cartridge handbook.  I got a
new cartridge in the mail this week and was
so excited to try it out when I got home.  I
started to print some images and I was very
disappointed...  I decided to change the black
ink cartridge (I had only used the Cricut
Imagine only 4 times) I didn't think I needed
to change it.  It made all the difference.  As
you can see in the picture the new prints are
bright, bold and perfect.

Here is a super quick project that I made with
the Cricut Imagine:

Recipe:
  • Cricut Imagine Machine
  • Cricut Imagine Cartridge- Buccaneer
  • Glossy Accents
  • String and Button
  • Stamp- My Pink Stamper (Everyday Life)

TOP 10 REASONS I LOVE MY CRICUT IMAGINE
I can make a project super quick!
  1. It requires as much or as little layering that you want to do!
  2. I can change the colors/patterns in the images!
  3. It prints patterned paper!
  4. I can use my Gypsy with it!
  5. I can use regular Cricut Cartridges with the machine!
  6. I can use RGB codes and match paper I already have!
  7. There are SUPER cute Cricut Imagine Cartridges!
  8. It's a product from Provo Craft!
  9. EXCELLENT Customer Service!
  10. It makes my crafting 100% easier
