Exploring Cartridges: Paisley
Yay! It is time for another "Exploring Cartridges" post. Today I asked my sweet friend Susan to help me explore the PAISLEY Cartridge.

What I liked about this cartridge was how girly it is. This is a super fun cartridges for scrapbook pages and cards. I love how you are not limited to each cut. There are lots of added buttons to each image. Overall, this cartirdge is a must have:)

Here is what Susan had to say about the PAISLEY Cartridge:I like the Paisley cartridge because it reminds me of the 70's. It's very versatile and kind of hippy like. The color possibilities for this cartridge are endless. Such cute cuts too.

This is What I Know...
I have been so blessed to have made so many great friends for the short time I have been blogging. I am grateful for all your kindness and words of encouragement. It makes blogging that more fun:)
Saturday night as I was preparing my lesson for my Sunday School Class (a bunch of adorable 6 year olds), I came across this talk I thought I would share it.
There has been a lot of not so exciting things that me and the hubby have been going through, with going through all the headache and not being able to have children. I have always wanted to be a mom from the time I was little. My husband and I have been married for about 7 years with no luck of children. When I first found out that we would have a hard time starting a family, I was upset. I felt like the world was out to get me with the thing that I wanted most in life. It was really hard for me to watch my friends announce they were expecting and put on a "smile" and act like it was the best thing I have heard. Yes, I was really excited for them but it just reminded me that... I'm not. There have been many days where I cried too many tears and became a little "jealous" of others and wonder "why me". With trials comes blessings, even though this trial hasn't been the one I ever wanted to go through, it has taught me a lot. It has made my faith in Christ grow and has brought me and my husband closer together. I know that if I keep strong in my faith, we will eventually have a little family.
I usually keep my personal life "personal" but I really felt inspired to share a little bit of my experience.

*I got this cartridge a few months ago from the awesome sale Paper Crafting Pro was having, it was one of the cartridges I debated on getting... not sure how many times I would have been using this cartridge. I decided to make a quick and simple card using this cartridge because it seem to be one of the "forgotten cartridges". I have only seen very few projects made with this.
Overall, this cartridge is pretty fun to use:) This would be an awsome cartridge to use when working on childrens scrapbooks and it would make awesome room decor in a nursery.

Camera Drama and a Home Decor Project
Wednesday afternoon my cameras memory card decided to "kick the bucket"...
I would have been okay for a few days until I made it to "town" (I live 30 mins from the closest walmart and grocery store) but I had a few important posts that I was getting ready for. Nothing is worse than making a design team project and then finding out about the camera;(
Anyways, this project was for my Thankful Thursday post for Crazy About Cricut.
I made this home decor project for Valentines Day (a little late, I know)...

Exploring Cartridges: Give A Hoot
YAY! Another fun day of EXPLORING CARTRIDGES:) Today Holly and I are exploring the GIVE A HOOT Cartridge!
Here are a couple things I made using GIVE A HOOT cartridge:)
I think I have only used this cartridge once before. Holly and I decided this would be a good one because you rarely see projects made using this cartridge and it is an easy one to forget about. I looked through the handbook and found a ton of ADORABLE cuts on it. I love all the animals and it looked super simple to use. The layering is way easy and would be great for kid projects. This cartridge would be great for cards, scrapbook pages and school projects:) I will for sure be using this cartridge in the near future!*Stamps come from MY PINK STAMPER

Look at what Holly made using the GIVE A HOOT cartridge
Here is what Holly had to say about this cartridge:I bought this cartridge because I LOVE owls but after getting it I never used it. I was really stumped on what I should make with it so I put it away and forgot I had it. Once I started looking through the booklet, I realized that this cartridge is very versatile and that I will be using it a lot in many different ways. You can use it on anything from recycling bins to outdoor/camping scrapbooking pages to earth day cards. The possibilities are endless! I did need to make a manly Valentines Day card for my husband because while I LOVE pink he does not want a card covered in it. So I used the Earth cut out and some of my Changito the monkey stamps and made him a card. I really love how it turned out and I think he will too. Since we are exploring the cartridge I wanted to show another way that you could use it. I am teaching my boys about recycling right now and about preserving the Earth so I used the raccoon cut out and phrase and made a kid friendly recycling bin. They will enjoy seeing the raccoon every time they have a can to put in the bin. After using this cartridge I have many ideas of future projects and I think this will become one of my most used cartridges over time.
